Form Jan 2, 2020 – Start Here

Hello there and welcome to the introductory episode number one of student of the last days. I feel it’s important to right off the bat, explain the purpose of the podcast who the audience that it’s intended for, because I I’m a firm believer in not wasting people’s time. I don’t like my time wasted. I value it and and likewise value your time. So, oh by the way, my name is Pat.

If you decide after listening to the introduction, if you get all the way through it, that this is something you’re interested in great you’ll, get to know me better as time goes along uh, but for now my name is Pat getting to be an older man. 59 years old, married kids are grown twelve year old, grandson lives with us, and that’s enough said about me for now, because this really isn’t about me. It’S about finding like-minded people who are interested in end-time prophecy, who believe or are open to the idea that there is a higher power that made his thoughts known to man. And when I say man, I’m not excluding anyone that includes all of us – men, women, even children, to them whomsoever will I don’t play the race card. I I find out appalling.

I have brothers and sisters of all races, so here we go clarity. That’S the number one most important thing to me too, to be clear where I stand and why what I believe why I believe it and to point you to where I’m getting it from and most importantly of all, for you to make your own mind up, I Don’T want you to take my word for it, I’m not a minister, I’m not a rabbi, I’m not anybody special, but I am a student of the Word of God. I do believe it’s divine. I don’t need to engage in conspiracy theories or Gnostic, deep, hidden knowledge or occult things that I find all that stuff well appalling, like frankly, it’s not necessary Jesus. Christ said behold.

I have for told you all things. I think that’s important foretold told us ahead of time. It’S been written down, it’s been preserved. If mortal men could destroy this word, it would have been gone a long time ago. They’Ve been unable to it is.

There is ZERO doubt in my mind that there are people of mankind all throughout history who would have destroyed this book in a millisecond if it were within their power, including the highest adversarial power Satan himself, the devil, whatever term you’re comfortable with the Bible gives many. Many king of the children of pride from the book of Job comes to mind peace, the wicked counselor, whatever term you’re comfortable with or maybe you’re comfortable with, all of them, even the highest adversarial force has been unable to destroy the Word of God. It’S still readily available. The best the adversaries have been able to do is pervert its teaching pervert its translations there’s some new translation based on some fairly Egyptian, the inferior manuscripts that are less less trustworthy than the received text. All these subjects will go into later.

If you’re still listening, there’s a pretty good chance that you would be a member of the intended audience otherwise, you’d already turn this off and moved on. So welcome aboard. I have a lot of things to go over. It’S almost so much. I don’t know where.

To start, but I’ll say this, I do know where to start, and I will episode 2 will dig right into it, but since we’re still in an introductory phase, if you don’t already have these 2 study tools, they’re a must at the very minimum, an authorized King James Bible, not not the New King James, just the authorized version that’s been around for quite a while and an unedited, and it’s very important, unedited Strong’s Concordance, there’s a lot of as Bible translations. The same with doctor Strong’s work, there’s some inferior ones out there. Now. That’S been edited, I bought one one time called the strongest Strong’s and it said many long-standing errors have been corrected. Well, what they really did was some uncomfortable truths have been edited out of it.

That’S okay, just a what I would recommend staying away from the newer ones. Get you an original and you can find them. You can tell you, can tell if it’s an original work with a little bit of research or not or if it’s a newer edited version. Now why do you need the Strong’s Concordance? Oh, let me go one step further.

If you can afford it – and I understand not, everyone can kind of brings up a whole nother subject. There’S a lot of prosperity preachers out there right now lay a guilt trip on you. If you’re a Christian in you’re, not rich they’re wrong, no we’re in God’s Word. Does it say you should be a rich man if you’re a Christian, although I’ve heard more than one preacher say such thing, one for sure I’m thinking I’ve heard more than one there’s one in Houston. I can think of for sure that I heard point-blank say that very long cutting very large congregation.

I might add that you’re, a representative Jesus Christ on this earth and you should be wealthy and if you’re not you’re, doing something wrong. I couldn’t disagree with that. More and if you stick with me and we go into it now, am I saying if you are rich, that means you’re going to hell? No, does it mean you can’t be a Christian if you’re rich, no, I’m saying being rich is not a prerequisite of being a Christian, and I will furthermore say it’s not the most important thing. Wisdom from God’s Word is the most important thing in this time.

A close relationship with God and the only way to do that. John chapter, one Jesus, the Word of God, made flesh and dwelt among us and he taught us while he was here before, told us all things which the overriding thing we’ll be looking at and if you’re on the fence. But you’re still with me. That’S a good sign. That means there’s hope that means you.

You are at least considering the possibility. Maybe there is something to all this Bible prophecy stuff. After all, I assure you there is, and through a preponderance of evidence, just like we was in court and the adversaries there and our attorney Christ. Is there and we’re going to argue this thing out and were there you’re going to, hopefully you’ll choose to ride along with me on this? I do accept comments here automatic but they’re monitored.

I have to prove them before they’ll. Go I’m not going to engage in unprofitable conversation. I don’t argue with anybody about theology. Theology is too important to argue about it’s like arguing about genealogies we’re not supposed to do it, we’re not supposed to cast pearls before swine. I plan on uncovering some pearls.

Perhaps some of them you found perhaps some of them. You haven’t, I believe, through prayer through diligent study. The Holy Spirit is a very real. It’S very real and will come and will assist as you’re able to receive it won’t overload. You won’t give you more than you’re able to handle, but will assist you in your studies this.

I know to be a fact. Furthermore, to get back closer to topic, and I do apologize for digressing. It’S just there’s. So much and I’ll be honest. I feel like there’s so little time I probably waited longer than I should have to begin this podcast, but I will present a preponderance of evidence.

I will connect in. I will connect current events, things you’re, seeing in the news and will show you there. No no credit to me whatsoever. I had nothing to do with it at least not directly. All the best I can do is show you where your heavenly father and mine for told you this long ago, and it was written down and has discussed earlier in this introduction preserved for us.

So it would be here in these end times if you will, but why did I name the podcast last days, because endtime prophecy has well an end. The Bible will speak of in those days. It also speaks of in the last days. I believe that we are in the last days the seventy years determined against Jerusalem is complete, not just in the historical type in the eighth in times before Christ, that in the latter day, in the end day scenario as well, Israel has it not only has it Reformed there became a nation again, the seventy years, determined against it have been completed. So we are from you know the beginnings of the sorrows Matthew 24.

It clearly describes World War one in World War. Two. Now I got to get this out because right now this is a this is January, 8th, 2020, 2020 January 8th in the headlines. Now there’s a lot of talk, radio, TV print, whatever you, whatever you can see Internet. However, you consume your news.

Talk of World War. Three, what we is there going to be a nuclear war? No, it’s not written. I know some people tried to make parts of Revelation sound like a nuclear war, we’re told quite clearly when that day of vengeance arrives, we have a year of recompenses, which I strongly feel if we’re not in it already we’re approaching it rapidly followed by a day Of vengeance, where God says you know he burns up the rudiments, all all the evil, everything that offends Christianity and Christians with the fire of his jealousy, not a nuclear fire. The fire of his jealousy hey, there’s a lot of warring going on the whole world wars.

After the beef disciples were a little worried about that, so the whole world, all of us he said no, no you’re not of this world we’ll get into this in this concept, teaching of Christ himself in in a future podcast see what I mean, there’s so much To cover – and I just feel like there’s so little time to do it and I apologize you know I’m hoping you’re finding this riveting and I’m hoping that you’ll stick with me. I think that’s enough for now. I think that I’ve, given you enough, let me say let me close with this – I’m not perfect. As I said before, I have my own story, maybe it’s relevant to say I have been a. I would consider a pretty serious stand, a spending time daily, if not more, in both prayer and study for approximately 20 years.

I had it not just me. My family had pretty rough going and not just tragedy, but family deaths and tragedy. That was a family death loss of a child that, let’s just say, woke me up for lack of a better term, and I mean that’s probably an overused term, but I can’t think of a better one on on the cuff like this. So let’s go with it, and that was in the at that time. Up to that time of trouble lasted from July of 1998 and it was a long string of miss tragedy, death misfortune, a lot of different things.

Accidents lasted all the way through April of the year 2000, and right about that time is when I got serious. So you know we’re 20 years up the road. Now I want to say this. I still don’t know everything don’t claim to know everything we’ll study every day. I feel it’s very important to be humble, not proud, not full full of myself.

I feel cringe when others are full of themselves think they may be no matter what you say. They already knew it or they tell you you’re wrong. Whatever the case may be, that’s troubling to me. We have to stay humble. We have to say we stay receptive to the Holy Spirit and, most importantly, admit when we’re wrong, if I’d so I’ll make you this promise.

If I will not only share Scripture with you and my understanding of it as best, I can do if I later feel that I misrepresented something in some way. I miss quoted something in some way. I have changed my viewpoint and maybe have added something to it or realized. Something was in error. I will be the first you’ll be the first to know you on this.

Podcast will be the first to know. I will well humbly come to. You beg your forgiveness and tell you where I feel I went wrong and why I went wrong and I urge you to be the same. To keep the same open mind now. Isn’T it important to be steadfast?

Doesn’T teaching scriptures teach us as yes steadfast in your faith? I don’t think that means you’re, never going to be wrong about something when it comes to studying the Word of God and trying to be cut and trying to become a better person, I feel it means. Don’T ever give up on God, don’t ever think, let’s put it to you this way. If something doesn’t make sense, you’re reading the Bible in or it seems to contradict itself and naysayers stiff necks. That’S the first thing they’ll point out and I will try to cover one by one as I’m going through these podcasts things, that people will point out and say see the Bible contradicts itself.

I’Ve made it a point to keep studying until I figure out what I’m missing, and I will urge you to do the same if the Bible seems to contradict itself, if it seems to be wrong about something always remember, it’s not the word. That’S wrong. It’S not! Christ, that’s wrong. The Living Word, the one that was the Word of God, made flesh and dwelt among us he’s not wrong were wrong and it’s okay, it’s okay!

It’S the only time you’ve crossed the line and went into the weeds is when you continue to repeat something after you know, it’s wrong now you’re lying. If you repeat something that turns out to be false in ignorance and there was really no way for you to know yet at that point in time. Okay, that’s truly! That’S not lying! You vote you’re only crossing the line.

If you continue to repeat something when you know better, I hope that makes sense, because my point is to bring clarity and confusing times I started closing a few minutes ago. Didn’T I I’m still not there, because I haven’t made an important one more, a really important point: it’s in the subtitle or description tag line whatever you prefer to call it of this podcast about bringing conflate come clarity in confounding times. These are indeed confounding times the root of the word babble. Basically, it means a multitude of conflicting voices and that’s very prevalent. Today.

There is quite a multitude, it’s undeniable of conflicting voices. One guy says: is this woman over here says that this LGBTQ person says the other thing, and here we go and it times it seems like no one agrees about any well that my friend my brother, my sister is Babel and Babylon is next to Israel. Is the most mentioned nation / in other places, city, it has its own [, __, ], there’s reasons for all this. It’S the most mentioned aside from Israel itself, but the alternate family to Israel, the most adversarial family. These are Israel and they’re always been adversaries.

Plenty of them, but the Babylonians okay, Israel, has never been short of adversaries, but Babel is, is and has been our number-one adversary and that’s one of the primary tools that the main adversary Satan himself likes to use against us. If no, nothing else confuses to the point that we wind up, maybe through ignorance, maybe through deception. Maybe we just flat give up on the God of Israel and side with him or as Christ made it clear, can’t quite make up our mind and therefore he finds us unacceptable in spews us out, because we were neither warm nor cold. That’S in Revelation by the way, and in closing now this time I really am going to close. If I I will make mention of where I find the where these things are written as I’m going through the podcast, but I will lead you to my website at the close of each broadcast and tell you where I will put in writing so you’ll.

Be there any time all the time or that particular episodes, scriptural references are – and I may even throw in some additional comments if you will so on so for things that I feel are important and you know I hope you find it a good study tool to Go along with your with your Strong’s Concordance and your authorized, King James – and I don’t know if I got it completely out earlier, but if you can afford it, I strongly recommend a companion Bible. It’S a not! It’S authorized King James, based on that with the added help of aw bullinger who passed away in 1913, but he was a fantastic scholar and he does. He has appendices in the back full of fantastic studies and side notes in the column on the side that help help guide you and has structures of outlines of who’s. Speaking who they’re talking to what they’re talking about to help you keep it straight.

It’S fantastic Study Bible, the best, the best Study Bible on the market, in my humble opinion, but that’s only if you can afford it. Oh yeah! That’S when I got sidetracked, making a point that hey don’t don’t ever let anybody put a guilt trip on you. I’Ve been a poor man, all my life, and I’m not ashamed of that. You know you’d be ashamed of Christ himself.

If you were did Christ when he come. Was he this rich man? No, he was he. The the well-to-do had contempt for him because he was just a poor old country boy. Nothing good ever came from Nazareth and not what they said.

So now they say the same thing about us: don’t they and Christ reminded us. Remember they hated me. First, we’re going suffer persecution where it is a crown of glory, because when Christ returns – and I do believe it soon – I’m not setting dates. I don’t believe it’s wise to set dates, but soon sometime not I’d. I do not believe we’re talking decades and decades and decades.

I don’t. I do believe it will be in my lifetime on 59, if the good Lord is willing that is it’ll, be in my lifetime, so love you. I love my brothers and sisters. I enjoy this. This this can be, our fellowship, may be impossible.

I’M in Parker Colorado, if you’re wondering it very well, may be impossible for us to ever meet face to face in this lifetime. We can fellowship through the ether waves. I hope to hope to. I hope you follow along and and are looking forward to episode 2. I will get that recorded and published as soon as possible.

Thank you for listening. Thank you for your time. I understand you’re busy. I understand it’s valuable and I’m grateful. Thank you.
