When I was growing up, I was convinced that I believed in a shared set of national values that most other Americans also embraced. But in our day and age those values have been discarded and now people that see the world the way that I do are clearly not in the majority any longer. I know that a lot of people out there may not want to hear that our national values have been turned upside down, but it is the truth. Those that sought to “fundamentally transform” this country have succeeded, and at this point “American values” are vastly different from the “American values” that I cherished as a young boy. The following are 7 numbers that clearly reveal the direction that America has chosen…
#1 There is more political chaos in our nation than there has ever been in my entire lifetime, and more than 40 percent of U.S. voters actually believe that a “second civil war” is likely within the next five years…
More than four-in-ten US voters say the country is likely to get ripped apart in a second civil war within five years, a shocking new survey reveals.
The Rasmussen Reports poll shows that 41 percent eye a civil conflict, compared to 49 percent who say it’s not likely. Another 10 percent said they were not sure.
That amounts to 106 million US adults saying civil war is on the horizon.
The survey comes against a backdrop of mounting violence on US college campuses, where pro-Palestine protestors clash with law enforcers, conservatives, some Jewish students and others.

The latest results are from a March 1-20 survey. The Israel-Hamas war has continued for five months and has resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of Palestinians and over 1,000 Israelis. Major parts of Gaza have been destroyed, complicating efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians still living there. The United Nations and international community, including the Biden administration, have called for a cease-fire, but the two warring sides have been unable to agree.

About two-thirds (65%) oppose the 2022 Supreme Court decision, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, and 34% approve, numbers that have remained effectively unchanged in CNN’s polling across the nearly two years since the ruling. Those who strongly disapprove of the decision continue to outnumber those who strongly approve by a more than 2-to-1 margin.
A 69% majority who disapprove of overturning Roe, including 82% of those who strongly disapprove, say that federal politicians should work to pass laws ensuring national abortion access. Those who support the ruling largely say federal politicians shouldn’t take action on the issue: 59% say laws on abortion should be left up to the states, with 29% in favor of further restrictions to abortion access nationwide. New national restrictions are supported by just about one-quarter of Republicans, White Evangelical Christians and those who describe themselves as conservative.

Overall, each younger generation is about twice as likely as the generation that preceded it to identify as LGBTQ+. More than one in five Gen Z adults, ranging in age from 18 to 26 in 2023, identify as LGBTQ+, as do nearly one in 10 millennials (aged 27 to 42). The percentage drops to less than 5% of Generation X, 2% of baby boomers and 1% of the Silent Generation.
Bisexuality is the most common LGBTQ+ status among Generation Z, millennials and Generation X. Fifteen percent of all Generation Z adults — representing more than two-thirds of those with an LGBTQ+ identification — are bisexual.

The number of US army staff with gender dysphoria has doubled in that time — from around 1,800 to 3,700, according to DoD data seen by DailyMail.com.
In the past three years, $17.5m in taxpayer money was spent on psychotherapy for trans service people and $1.5m went towards hormone drugs.
A further $7.6m funded gender-affirming surgeries, including facial tweaks to make a recruit more masculine or feminine, and the removal or creation of breasts and genitals.

The United Methodist Church, one of the largest Protestant denominations in the U.S., has voted to repeal its ban on LGBTQ clergy as well as prohibitions on its ministers from officiating at same-sex weddings.
Delegates overwhelmingly approved the changes, 692 to 51, during the United Methodist Church’s General Conference.
The meeting is taking place this week in Charlotte, N.C. after the pandemic delayed the 2020 General Conference where these decisions had been slated to take place.

The birth rate in the US has declined to a new low, according to data published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The figures show that fewer than 3.6 million babies were born in the US last year, the lowest amount since 1979 and equating to the lowest fertility rate EVER recorded.
The CDC analysed the 2023 data and found that the birth rate is down 2 percent on the previous year.
If you go back to 1960, the average U.S. woman gave birth to 3.65 children during her lifetime.
Today, that number has fallen all the way down to 1.6.
But we need a birth rate of at least 2.1 just to keep replacing ourselves.
If we didn’t have so much immigration going on, our population would be steadily falling.

It is often said that children are the future of our society, but we have greatly devalued marriage and parenthood.

But the fact that we aren’t reproducing ourselves is just one of the existential problems that we are facing.
At this point we live in an upside down society that has rejected the values that this nation was founded upon.
If we stay on this path, there isn’t going to be a future for America, and that is the truth.

Price inflation is no coincidence. It is a policy. Governments, along with their so-called experts, attempt to persuade you that price inflation stems from anything other than the consistent, albeit slower, rise in aggregate prices year after year. Issuing more currency than the private sector demands, thus eroding its purchasing power and creating a constant annual transfer of wealth from real wages and deposit savings to the government.
Oil prices are not a cause of inflation but a consequence. Prices increase as more units of the currency used to denominate the commodity shift to relatively scarce assets. Therefore, oil prices do not cause inflation; they are one of the signals of currency debasement. Furthermore, if oil prices caused inflation, we would go from inflation to deflation quickly, not from elevated inflation to slower price increases.
The same goes for all the causes that governments and their agents try to use as an excuse for rising prices. Most are just manifestations, not causes of inflation. Even if the global economy were dominated by three evil and stupid oligopolistic businesses, they would not be able to increase aggregate prices and maintain an annual increase if the quantity of currency in the system were to remain equal. Why? Two things would happen. First, those three monopolistic evil corporations would see their working capital soar because citizens would not have enough units of currency to pay for all they produce. Two, the rest of the prices would decline as there would be a significantly lower number of units of currency to purchase other goods and services.
Even a group of quasi-monopolistic corporations cannot make all prices rise in unison and consolidate the annual level, only to continue rising. However, the monopolistic issuer of the currency, the government, can make all prices rise while at the same time diminishing the purchasing power of the units of state debt that they issue.
It is surprising to see how some so-called experts say that a few large corporations make all prices rise but deny that the state that monopolizes the creation of money is the cause of price inflation.
Governments are at the root of rising prices. While banks can generate money—credit—through lending, they rely on projects and investments to support these loans. Banks cannot create money to bail themselves out. No financial entity would go bankrupt then. In fact, banks’ largest asset imbalance comes from lending at rates below the cost of risk and having government loans and bonds as “no-risk” investments, two things that are imposed by regulation, law, and central bank planning. Meanwhile, the state does issue more currency to disguise its fiscal imbalances and bail itself out, using regulation, legislation, and coercion to impose the use of its own form of money.
Monopolies cannot simply drive up prices unless they are able to force consumers to use their products without any decline in demand. We also must understand that destructive and inefficient monopolies can only exist if the state imposes them. In any other situation, those monopolies disappear due to competition, technology, and cheaper imports from other nations. So, which is the only monopoly that can force consumers to use their product regardless of the real demand for it? Government fiat money.
The government is the largest economic agent and therefore the most important driver of aggregate demand, as well as the issuer of currency. The government can end today’s high price-inflation rates at any time by eliminating the unnecessary spending that causes the deficit, which is the same as money printing. Taxing the private sector to cut price inflation is like starving the children to make the fat parent lose weight.
If Senator Warren and President Biden were right and corporations were to blame for rising inflation, competition, cheaper imports, and a decline in demand, they would have taken care of their unjustified prices. Only the government can cause and perpetuate inflation, using the central bank as its financial arm and regulation as the imposition of the state’s IOU (currency) as the “lowest-risk asset” in banks’ assets. The government creates the currency and imposes it, and when its purchasing power declines, it blames the economic agents that are forced to use its form of money.
MMT defenders and neo-Keynesians say that the government can issue all the currency that they need and that their limit is not fiscal (deficit and debt) but price inflation. It makes no sense because price inflation is the manifestation of an unsustainable fiscal problem, reflected in the vanishing confidence in the currency issuer. It is, literally, like a giant corporation issuing debt endlessly and thinking nothing matters. It is a subterfuge to implement the constant increase in size of government in the economy, knowing that once it controls a large part, it is virtually impossible to stop the state.
Stephanie Kelton and others say the government should spend all it wants and, if price inflation rises, tax the excessive money away. This is funny. So, the government increases size on the way in, spending and diluting the purchasing power of the private sector’s earnings and savings, and then taxes the private sector, thus increasing the size of government on the way out. Furthermore, there is no government that would recognize that price inflation comes from spending too much, so the destruction of the private sector continues and the diminishing confidence in the currency extends, as history has proven numerous times.
Governments cannot tax away the price inflation they have created by bloating spending. They can only weaken the private productive sector further and worsen the economic situation and the price inflation outlook.
There is no such thing as perennial monetary sovereignty. Like any form of debt, currency demand disappears with the government’s solvency and the economic weakness of the private sector consumed by taxes. Once the government destroys confidence in the currency as a reserve of value, the private sector will find some other way to make transactions outside of the imposition of a state-issued currency.
When governments present themselves as the solution to price inflation with large spending programs and subsidies, they are only printing more money, like putting out a fire with gasoline.
Biden says the government has a plan to cut price inflation, but all they have done is perpetuate it, making citizens poorer and the productive sector weaker.
If Biden wants to cut price inflation, all he must do is eliminate the deficit by cutting expenditures. The reason why governments should never oversee monetary policy and be allowed to monetize all deficits is that no administration will cut its size to defend citizens’ wages because nationalization by monetary inflation and taxes is the goal of interventionism: to create a dependent and hostage economy.
When Obama made it a priority to import immigrants into the United States from Muslim countries, there was a massive jump in the number of refugees and immigrants who came into the United States.
The list of issues that have followed is long, but as anti-Semitism and Marxist indoctrination on college campuses reach all-time highs, Mark Levin can’t help but focus on this one.
“People who come into the country with their own culture are not assimilated into our culture because our culture is being attacked from our educational institutions — that is public schools, colleges, and universities — through our media and our entertainment,” Levin says.
“It’s why CRT, DEI, ESG, and all the rest of the Marxist alphabet soup is so damaging to the country,” he adds.
This is why Levin believes that anti-Semitism is rising on college campuses.
“When you have the importation of individuals from countries or cultures that have almost nothing in common with our country, and from places that hate our country, this is the consequence,” he says.
“When you have Marxist ideologues as tenured faculty members, and elsewhere, pushing their Marxist agenda on American citizen children, this is what you get. A fusion of Marxism and Islamism, and they all are involved in anti-Americanism,” he adds.
And it’s all by design.
“All this extremist radicalism is being taught, it’s being embraced, and now, it’s being practiced, and it’s also being funded. It’s being funded by Democrat Party billionaires through dark money contributions laundered through organizations,” he explains.
“Which is why they almost, almost, uniformly line up against Israel and line up against America and line up against Trump. They will do anything for power,” he adds.

On a robust day 11 of his ongoing battle in New York, former President Trump continued to face his ongoing allegations. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has charged him with 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records. The charges center around a $130,000 payment made to former adult film star Stormy Daniels, managed by Trump’s former adviser, Michael Cohen.
Cohen described the payments as legal expenses, but prosecutors argue these were actually reimbursements for the payment to Daniels. They claim this arrangement facilitated other violations, including breaches of federal campaign finance limits, state election laws, and tax regulations. Throughout the trial, Trump has consistently pleaded not guilty, challenging the accusations as part of a broader politically charged narrative.
During a moment in the courtroom on Friday, Hope Hicks, former press secretary for former President Trump’s 2016 campaign and later White House communications director, became visibly emotional. The scene unfolded as Trump’s defense attorney questioned her during cross-examination about her tenure with the Trump Organization. As Hicks recounted her experiences, she appeared to get choked up and struggled to hold back tears, prompting the court to take a brief recess.
Hicks is a public relations consultant and former political advisor who is best known for her work with Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign and subsequent administration. Hicks served as the White House Communications Director and had a close working relationship with the former president. She originally joined the Trump Organization in 2014 and became a part of Trump’s presidential campaign team in early 2015. Over the years, she held several roles, including press secretary and communications advisor.

Hicks briefly left the White House in early 2018 but returned in early 2020 as a counselor to the president. She has been a central figure in several major news stories regarding her time in the Trump administration, particularly her involvement in various Congressional investigations into the administration’s activities.
“This isn’t a trial, it’s a political campaign, a witch hunt, just like the highly conflicted and biased judge, Juan Merchan, wanted it to be,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Friday morning. “I’m sure his political friends and allies, and Crooked Joe Biden, in particular, will be thrilled that they are getting away with this corrupt, ‘ancient,’ and highly political attack on his 2024 presidential opponent… Virtually every legal scholar and expert call it a sham and disgrace, election interference. It is an insult to American justice!”
This week, Trump promptly addressed the $9,000 in fines imposed on him after Judge Juan Merchan ruled that he had breached a gag order multiple times. According to a source speaking to Fox News Digital, the fines were settled on Thursday via cashier’s checks in two separate payments—one for $2,000 and another for $7,000.
The gag order, established in the lead-up to the trial last month, prohibits public discussion about witnesses and family members of court officials. Judge Merchan found that Trump had not adhered to this order on nine occasions, with each instance attracting a $1,000 fine.
In detailing the sanctions, Judge Merchan warned of more severe repercussions, including possible incarceration, should Trump continue to willfully violate the order. Nevertheless, Trump’s legal team contests that the gag order infringes upon his First Amendment rights. They argue against the claims of District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office, which alleges that Trump has breached the order more than a dozen times.

Taking a page from the playbook of University of North Carolina fraternity brothers who captured America's heart for protecting a U.S. flag on campus this week amid anti-Israel protests, more than 200 students at the University of Mississippi showed up with U.S. flags and red, white, and blue attire to drown out a much smaller group of pro-Palestinian protesters Thursday.
In fact, the pro-Palestinian demonstrators were evacuated from the campus of Ole Miss, the Clarion Ledger reported.
What are the details?WMC-TV reported that the pro-Palestinian protest was supposed to start at the University Circle but was forced to move after a group of students blocked off the area, saying they were protecting the flag.
“I believe that is just the most important thing for us to do right now is protect everything we stand for,” Ole Miss student Aubrey Grace told the station, adding that "recently with the encampments across the nation, you have seen violence on other school campuses, and that is something that we cannot tolerate, especially as Americans."
The Ledger said upward of 60 pro-Palestinian protesters gathered on the Quad, and then things heated up when the counter-protesters showed up.
WMC added in its video report that a pro-Palestinian protester threw a water bottle into the crowd of pro-Israel protesters — and then bottles and food were flying in both directions.
Soon, police led the pro-Palestinian protesters into the School of Applied Sciences building, the Ledger said. Jacob Batte, Ole Miss director of media relations, confirmed to the paper that the pro-Palestinian protesters had been safely evacuated from campus on buses.
There reportedly were no arrests or injuries, WHBQ-TV reported.
Pryce Parker — an Ole Miss student who joined the counter protest — told WHBQ in regard to the pro-Palestinian protesters that "you can’t take over our campus like the campuses in the north. This is a southern campus. We believe in God and Jesus, and we don’t stand for that.”

The New York criminal case against former President Donald Trump continued for the eleventh day on Friday, with one of the prosecution's so-called key witnesses, Hope Hicks, taking the stand. Hicks was Trump's former White House communications director and campaign aide.
Prosecutor Matthew Colangelo questioned Hicks. During her testimony, Hicks stated that she "was concerned" when she received an email request for comment from the Washington Post regarding a piece on the "Access Hollywood" tape.
"I was concerned about the contents of the email. I was concerned about the lack of time to respond. I was concerned we had a transcript without a tape. There was a lot at play," she said.
Hicks told the jury that she had "a good sense this was going to be a massive story," adding that it was "a damaging development" to the presidential campaign.
"lt was all Trump all the time for the next 36 hours," Hicks said, referring to the media coverage that followed the release of the tape.
Hicks claimed that former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker told her during a phone call that the deal the tabloid made with former Playboy model Karen McDougal — who alleged she had an affair with Trump — was "for magazine covers and fitness columns and that it was all very legitimate."
She said that Trump "wanted to hear that from David as well."
"I believe I have a recollection of us calling and David repeating that to Mr. Trump," Hicks added.
Hicks claimed that Michael Cohen, Trump's former attorney, told her the story about the $130,000 so-called hush money payment to porn actress Stormy Daniels was not true and that no payment had ever been made. She noted that it "would be out of character" for Cohen to make the payment himself.
Before Trump's attorney, Emil Bove, started his cross-examination, Hicks began tearing up on the stand and had to take a short break.
When she returned, she told jurors that Cohen had tried to "insert himself" into Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and go "rogue" by taking actions not approved by the campaign team. She noted that his unauthorized activities frustrated the Trump team.
"He would try to insert himself at certain moments, but he wasn't supposed to be on the campaign in any official capacity," she said of Cohen. "There were things he did in a voluntary capacity because of his interest."
"He liked to call himself a fixer, or Mr. Fix It, and it was only because he first broke it that he was able to then fix it," she told jurors.
Anything else?On Friday morning, the prosecution submitted recordings from Cohen's phone as evidence in the trial.
Bove noted that between 2016 and 2023, "all sorts of things have happened" with Cohen's phone, which "present questions about the reliability of the evidence."
Prosecutor Chris Conroy asked witness Douglas Daus, a forensics and technology expert, whether he saw "any evidence of tampering or manipulation on any of the data that you pulled related to the recording that's in evidence." Daus replied that he had not.
During Bove's recross-examination, he asked Daus whether he noticed "gaps in the handling of this data that created risk for such tampering," to which Daus replied, "Yes."
House Republicans, led by House Judiciary Chairman Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), recently launched an investigation into Colangelo, a former top Department of Justice official, Blaze News previously reported. In a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, Jordan argued that New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg's decision to recruit Colangelo as a lead prosecutor in the criminal case against Trump gave the "perception" that the DOJ is assisting in the "politicized prosecution" of the former president.

You could imagine a colossal mommy breast with three hundred nipples descending from the sky over upper Manhattan to nourish them back to action. "Feed me. . . !"
It turns out, actually, that at least half the troops inside were not students at all, but rather semi-pro activists paid up to $7,000 each by George Soros’s Open Society Institute and other overtly insurrection-themed orgs, so you’d think that the troops could afford to load-up their ever-ready backpacks with Clif bars and bottles of Smart Water. The order-in food and beverage gambit suggests we should understand that this is not so much politics as the acting out of a game — which is exactly what you might expect of people who spend more time on video screens than in the real world — in which something like a half-time intermission for refreshments is de rigueur.
Alas, they were not obliged with DoorDash servings of Alitcha (“Ensemble of potatoes, carrots, collard greens, and cabbage baked in turmeric,” $22.30) from the nearby Massawa Ethiopian bistro, or Firecracker Chicken from Junzi Kitchen over on Broadway and 113th Street. And then, when the cops came to roust them out into the big buses now used as paddy-wagons for such events, the occupiers were heard to whine, “I have finals and I need to go home!” You’ve got to wonder how they’ll make out when “Joe Biden” drafts their ass to go fight the Russians out on the Ukrainian buzzard flats, about which the White House is just now sending out early signals.
It has been observed that a clear majority of the pro-Hamas activists are young women — which makes sense considering that they are the largest demographic evincing mental illness on America’s social landscape these days. Thus, they are marching in support of a sect that specializes in the rape, mutilation, and murder of young women like themselves, or at least treats them as chattels, hidden under black bag-like garments. The group psychology on display has more occult angles than any movie by the Wachowski sisters.
Among the marching Columbia students who are not paid outside activists, a few are apparently Jewish, such as spokesperson Johannah King-Slutzky (actual name, hat-tip Alex Berenson, who ID’d her), the winsome creature who complained about the lack of order-in meals at Hamilton Hall. Another observer on “X” who styles himself @J9_ATX identified the syndrome in play as “oppression envy,” among women seeking compensatory validation for occupying such a privileged niche on Planet Earth as a cushy Ivy League college — featuring international cuisine stations in the dining halls — while their third world sisters trudge through the burning sands of Al-Kufra carrying water-jugs on their heads as they dodge the odious “wind scorpions” of the region.
Higher Ed in the USA was already chugging down the suicide track before this spring’s eruption of pro-Hamas fury. The college loan racket (government-backed) had the perverse effect of pumping up tuition costs beyond what even many pretty well-off families could afford, while loading up young people with life-wrecking obligations (debt which “Joe Biden” is now shifting onto the creditors, US tax-payers). Decades of DEI have filled the faculties with incompetents and assorted malcontents teaching fantasy curricula with no real-life value, and burdened the schools with cadres of overpaid diversity busybodies and thought-police. Diversity college presidents are very publicly failing to cope. The whole rotten train is going off the rails.
I’m not at all sanguine that the society we are becoming will need this vast infrastructure for babysitting young adults who could otherwise make themselves useful and productive on-the-ground in lines of work that actually keep civilized life going. This is too self-evident now to belabor, though there is an awful lot of confusion about what kind of society we might become.
I doubt that it is to be the utopia of robots, A-I, and non-stop sexual titillation that the techno-narcissists dream of. Rather, it will be a society struggling to keep too much complex stuff running with insufficient energy resources and capital — that is, a society falling apart, losing knowledge, technical know-how, comfort, and convenience while having a hard time feeding itself.
The campus Hamas zealots ironically (and tragically) represent exactly the sort of rough medievalism that the citizens of Western Civ countries would be chary of sliding into. You’d have to sadly conclude that many young people really can’t take much more Modernity, and are now pretty avid to opt out of it, even as they gaze into the magic, glowing pixels of their iPhone screens.

Actor Daniel Radcliffe said it would have seemed like he was being cowardly if he didn't make a statement after author J.K. Rowling's criticisms of the transgender movement in 2020.
That year, Rowling spoke out and said, "If sex isn't real, the lived reality of women globally is erased," adding that erasing the concept of sex "removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn't hate to speak the truth."
Radcliffe responded in a written piece for the Trevor Project, an organization that provides "crisis intervention and suicide prevention services" to LGBTQ youth.
"Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I," Radcliffe wrote, referring to Rowling by a short form of her first name, Joanne.
In an interview with the Atlantic, Radcliffe explained that anything less than that response would have been cowardly.
"I'd worked with the Trevor Project for 12 years and it would have seemed like, I don't know, immense cowardice to me to not say something."
"I wanted to try and help people that had been negatively affected by the comments," he continued. "And to say that if those are Jo’s views, then they are not the views of everybody associated with the Potter franchise," the actor said.
Radcliffe admitted in the interview that he has had no direct contact with Rowling in the past few years but has had indirect responses.
"It makes me really sad, ultimately," he told the outlet. "I do look at the person that I met, the times that we met, and the books that she wrote, and the world that she created, and all of that is to me so deeply empathic," he explained.
The "Harry Potter" star also remarked on the group of then-child actors being lumped together for their echoed sentiments toward transgenderism.
Actress Emma Watson said in 2020 that "trans people are who they say they are" while co-star Rupert Grint also said at the time that "trans women are women. Trans men are men."
Radcliffe said that in the British press particularly, "There's a version of 'Are these three kids ungrateful brats?' that people have always wanted to write, and they were finally able to. So, good for them, I guess,"
"Obviously Harry Potter would not have happened without [Rowling], so nothing in my life would have probably happened the way it is without that person. But that doesn't mean that you owe the things you truly believe to someone else for your entire life," he declared.
In a lengthy thread on X, Rowling stated in April 2024 that "committed ideologues" had doubled down on their transgender rhetoric, despite information released in a study that ultimately led to the U.K.'s health system halting hormone blockers for children.
"These are people who've deemed opponents 'far-right' for wanting to know there are proper checks and balances in place before autistic, gay and abused kids - groups that are all overrepresented at gender clinics - are left sterilised, inorgasmic, lifelong patients," she added.
In response, a fan said that he was waiting for "Harry Potter" film stars Radcliffe and Watson to issue an apology to Rowling, adding that he felt "safe in the knowledge" that Rowling would forgive them.
Rowling denied that sentiment.
"Not safe, I'm afraid. Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women's hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces."
In response to that exchange, Radcliffe told the Atlantic that he would "continue to support the rights of all LGBTQ people" and that he has "no further comment than that."

The former attorney of Stormy Daniels, Michael Avenatti, who is currently serving a prison sentence in California, took aim at attorney Keith Davidson, a key witness in President Donald Trump’s “hush money” trial, accusing him of deceit this week. In a social media post on X, Avenatti alleged that Davidson, who negotiated the $130,000 payment to Daniels, lied about his involvement in the alleged extortion attempt against Trump.
Avenatti claimed that Daniels had confessed to their involvement in a shakedown of Trump back in 2016. During his court appearance, Davidson provided his side of the story regarding the payment made by Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to Daniels. The payment was purportedly made to prevent Daniels from speaking about an alleged affair with Trump, which he vehemently denies.
According to Davidson’s testimony, Daniels was paid $130,000 by Cohen to prevent her from disclosing an alleged sexual encounter with Trump. Davidson also discussed another client, Karen McDougal, who claimed to have been paid $150,000 by the National Enquirer’s parent company to keep her story quiet—a story they never published.

In court Davidson recounted Cohen’s distress over not being taken to Washington despite his deep involvement in Trump’s affairs, saying, “Jesus Christ, can you f*cking believe I’m not going to Washington, after everything I’ve done for that f*cking guy?”
The testimony further dove into the chaotic aftermath when the payments to Daniels became public in 2018. Davidson described how Cohen aggressively sought to maintain control over the narrative, including strong responses to press inquiries and threats of legal action against Daniels. Meanwhile, Trump has denied all allegations of wrongdoing and involvement with Daniels and McDougal.
Avenatti gained significant media attention and notoriety in past years for representing adult film actress Stormy Daniels in her lawsuits against former President Trump in the past. Ironically, Avenatti became a vocal critic of Trump frequently appearing on television and in other media. Despite his rise in public profile, Avenatti’s career has been marred by legal issues. Heather Pressdee of Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania, worked at over 11 rehabilitation clinics between 2018 and 2023. She consistently got fired or had to resign on account of concerns over her abusive behavior toward staff and patients.
Pennsylvania's Office of the Attorney General conducted an investigation after receiving a referral about a patient under Pressdee's care in late 2022. It soon became clear that she wasn't just abusing patients — Pressdee was murdering them.
To avoid the death penalty, Pressdee, 41, has pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and 19 counts of criminal attempt to commit murder. She will, however, die in prison as a Butler County judge sentenced the killer nurse to three life sentences for the three confirmed murders plus 380-760 years of consecutive incarceration for her other murder attempts.
"The defendant used her position of trust as a means to poison patients who depended on her for care," Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry said in statement Thursday. "This plea and life sentence will not bring back the lives lost, but it will ensure Heather Pressdee never has another opportunity to inflict further harm. I offer my sincere sympathy to all who have suffered at this defendant's hands."
Pressdee's victims, who were spread over four counties at five different facilities, include Alice Stewart, Ann Victain, Betty Hutchison, Betty McQueeney, Elmer Allbee, Gerald Shrum Sr., Irene Simons, Purple Heart recipient Jack Rogers, James Bartoe, James Fair, Joseph Campbell, Louise Skinner, Marguerite Laskovich, Marianne Bower, Mary Colwell, Nicholas Cymbol, Norman Hendrickson, Ruth Erikson, Sandra Lincoln, and Sherry Stilitino. Their ages were 43-104.

Blaze News previously reported that the victims had been at Concordia at Rebecca Residence; Belair Healthcare and Rehabilitation; Quality Life Services Chicora; Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center; and Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center — all locations where Pressdee served as a registered nurse.
Investigators indicated the killer nurse would load her victims up with fatal doses of insulin during overnight shifts when there were few staff members on hand and "often took steps to ensure her victims would expire prior to shift change so that they wouldn't be sent to the hospital where her scheme could be discovered through medical testing."
In the event that victims appeared as though they might survive, Pressdee took additional measures to snuff them out.
According to the criminal complaint, when insulin failed to kill one victim whom Pressdee later told investigators "needed to die," she administered a syringe full of air into the victim's catheter to create a lethal air embolism.
Pressdee appears to have developed a taste for killing after dropping out of the nursing program at the Community College of Allegheny County and becoming a veterinary technician. She later told investigators that during her 14 years providing "critical animal care," her duties included euthanizing animals.
The murderer later finished her nursing degree then went to work treating human beings like lesser animals.
A number of Pressdee's text messages to her mother that were detailed in the complaint hint at a murderous mentality, such as when she wrote:
"I'm gonna murder already" on June 10, 2022; "If you get like this you will get pillow therapy," referencing a patient on June 26, 2022; "She's gonna die!!!!" on July 5, 2022; "I drugged him already and I don't know how he is awake" on Sept. 6, 2022; "I'm going to kill this bitch on the phone" on Oct. 17, 2022; "She could be dead, she hasn't made a noise since 9 and I'm not checking on her," adding later on Dec. 7, 2022, "Well she's alive and she may die now"; "Whatever I'm gonna stab a bitch today" on Jan. 21, 2023; and "But I may kill this resident" on May 12, 2023.In court, Phil DiLucente, Pressdee's defense attorney, attempted to humanize the murderous nurse, reported WTAE-TV.
"Let me just say this. There is not all bad in everyone. And you could see at the end, she was remorseful," said DiLucente. "There was a tear in her eyes, and some folks could see up in the jury box from the press that I handed her a handkerchief to wipe her tears away. So, at the end of the day, we're all human, and this is a very, very tragic — a tragic case."
Family members of the victims weren't fooled by the attorney's last-ditch effort and the killer's crocodile tears.
One relative told the judge, "She's not sick. She's not insane. She's evil personified."
Another victim's granddaughter told Pressdee, "You are not a nurse, you are a black mark on the nursing profession."
"She's pure evil," Melinda Brown, sister of victim Nicholas Cymbol, told WTAE. "There's no justice for this. We'll get justice when she meets her maker."
Elizabeth Simons Ozella, the daughter of victim Irene Simons said, "I'll never forgive her for what she did. We're angry and hurt that she disguised herself as a caring nurse."
"She took someone from this earth that she had no right to take," continued Ozella, "and she played God when she didn't have that right."

North Carolina authorities are investigating the tragic death of a pastor's wife.
On April 28, John-Paul Miller, pastor of Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, delivered his Sunday sermon like normal. But when he finished preaching, he announced shocking news to his congregation.
His wife, Mica Miller, was dead.
"I got a call late last night, my wife has passed away," he said. "It was self-induced, and it was up in North Carolina."
Pastor Miller told the congregation that he expected them to leave the sanctuary after his "announcement" without talking about the "announcement." He said there would be a funeral at the church for Mica Miller next Sunday at 3 p.m.

Officials have not yet released an official cause of death.
However, Major Damien McLean of Robeson County Sheriff's Office confirmed to WPDE-TV that officers are investigating Miller's death and are gathering information from people in North Carolina and South Carolina. He added that officials plan to release more information in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Mica's friends and family are speaking out.
Mica's mother posted on Facebook three days ago, "My daughter Mica was found Saturday in Lumberton, NC with a fatal gunshot wound. A no contact order and a divorce was filed just days before this tragedy. We are devastated. Prayers appreciated."
Mica's sister, Sierra Francis, said, "Please do not listen to false stories being shared about her. Mica was a God-fearing, joyful, loving woman who did not deserve the abuse she endured. ... Please respect us in this time and honor her memory with joy that she is no longer suffering."
Kenn Young, one of Mica's friends, told WDPE that police need to investigate "deeply."
"This has to be at least looked into deeply. There’s got to be some accountability here," he said. "Because yeah, a tragic life was lost, and it's not just as simple as mental health issues."
Just weeks before her death, Mica posted on Facebook about "leaving a dangerous situation" and suggested that she had been the victim of "terrible terrible TERRIBLE terrible" things.
Public records show that Mica had filed for divorce last October, and she had filed additional "Separate Support and Maintenance" orders. The most recent order, filed on April 15, had a court hearing date set for June 5.

The second week of testimony in Donald Trump’s hush money case concluded on Friday with yet another ho-hum day for the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The prosecution is gearing up for crucial testimony from Michael Cohen, the former attorney of Trump, who facilitated the $130,000 payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels allegedly in exchange for her silence.
Earlier today, jury consultant Carolyn Koch offered a candid assessment of the hurdles facing Bragg in the high-profile trial of former President Trump. The heart of the prosecution’s case hinges on testimony and recordings from Cohen, specifically a tape discussing a potential deal to purchase a story about Playboy model Karen McDougal, who claimed she had an affair with Trump.
Koch was doubtful about the impact of the audio recording on a jury, noting the tape’s incomplete nature and Cohen’s questionable reliability. “Audio is good, and audio is like a document, but jurors are going to respond to the case like a mosaic,” Koch explained. She likened the evidence to an unfinished conversation in a Jenga tower—valuable yet precarious without full context.
Jurors typically look for credible and complete evidence to piece together a narrative. Koch pointed to the inherent challenge in relying heavily on Cohen’s testimony, stating, “If there’s missing information on Cohen’s cell phone, and he’s not the most credible person… That’s a problem.”

The conversation captured between Trump and Cohen on tape marks a significant moment in the trial, as it is the first time the jury can hear Trump directly engaging with his former lawyer. Despite this, Koch voiced her skepticism about its evidential value. “Most jurors will hold the government to its burden to prove a case beyond a reasonable doubt. And witnesses have to have some quality and some credibility. I think they’re going to be a little stunned that that’s a little bit lacking here,” she explained.
The trial presents a deep dive into what Koch called an “unseemly world” of politics and personal betrayals. The real challenge for Bragg and his team will be to navigate these waters with credible, concrete evidence to convince a jury—something Koch suggested may be an uphill battle given the current trajectory of the case.
Trump also targeted the “Soros-backed” Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg while addressing reporters after exiting court on Friday. “Lately, this office of DA, which is letting crime, violent crime run rampant all over our city,” Trump remarked.
“What they’ve done to people in my company, they’ve been after us for years. You take a look at what’s happened, years, the Democrats, the radical left, they’ve been after us for years and they’ve destroyed people’s lives. They’ve gone out, hired lawyers, they’ve been with lawyers for years, being sucked dry. And it’s a shame. It’s a shame what they’ve done to this country and it’s a shame what they’ve done to a lot of great people that have been absolutely ruined and destroyed, not only here, all over.”
“These are vicious, vicious, radical left lunatics. The DA here is sort of Soros backed. They shouldn’t be wasting time on this,” he added. “In the meantime, you can’t do anything in the country. The country is going to hell.”

When White went on Maher’s "Club Random" podcast, this became clear when they started discussing the softening of sports and landed on the topic of Damar Hamlin’s injury.
“By the time night had fallen on this event, it was just the one true opinion that this game could not have been played, because that’s the way America reacts to things. Now, I’m in the opinion that they should have played the game,” Maher told White.
But they didn’t play the game, because they claimed the most important thing was Damar, which Maher called “bad logic.”
“How does that affect playing the game? He’s in the hospital. Unless the doctors are watching the game out of the corner of their eye while they’re operating on him, I don’t think it’s going to affect anything,” Maher continued, noting that the first thing Hamlin said when he woke up was “Did we win?”
“No, because you live in baby land, Damar,” Maher laughed.
“I don’t disagree with you,” White said, adding, “The last thing that I want to see is any more of the p***ification of this country.”

A Christian Navy veteran toppled a satanic statue at the Iowa Capitol just before Christmas. A Democratic prosecutor subsequently slapped him with hate crime charges. This week, a judge ensured that the charges would stick.
While the Satanic Temple and the Democratic prosecutor might like to see Michael Cassidy ultimately locked up, his fate will be determined by a jury — a jury likely to contain at least a handful of sympathetic, God-fearing Americans.
"We believe that the jury will have the opportunity to consider all of the facts in this case, including Mr. Cassidy's military service and motivation," Davis Younts, Cassidy's lawyer, told Blaze News. "He was compelled by his faith to act to protect others."
'Enemy of humanity'The Satanic Temple is an anti-Christian leftist organization that has performed public "unbaptisms"; advocated for mothers to kill their unborn babies by way of its "religious abortion ritual"; agitated to prevent chaplaincy in Florida schools; disseminated satanic literature to kids; held a demonization ceremony in protest of the canonization of the Catholic Spanish priest Junípero Serra; and pushed the LGBT agenda.
In recent years, the ST has also erected multiple demonic statutes across the country on public property. Ahead of Christmas 2023, the Satanic Temple raised one such statue — a ram-headed Baphomet statue holding a red pentacle — along with a satanic altar on the first floor of the Iowa Capitol.
There was plenty of impotent rage in the face of the seemingly intentional Christmastime affront to both Christians and Muslims. After all, Blaze News previously reported that Baphomet possibly originated as a slight against the Muslim faith.
UCLA professor Zrinka Stahuljak indicated "Baphomet" was originally a French corruption of the name Mohamed. British historian Peter Partner suggested further that the Knights Templar, who reclaimed territory previously occupied by Islamic forces, were accused by inquisitors of worshiping Baphomet as part of what was likely a 14th-century smear.
Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) called the demonic altar "objectionable" but encouraged critics to engage in prayer at the state Capitol.
State Rep. Jon Dunwell (R), a Christian pastor, outlined why this was the optimal response, noting that the Satanic Temple successfully "petitioned for their display in August and were approved with some modification."
Lucien Greaves, co-founder of the ST, noted, "I would hope that even people who disagree with the symbolism behind our values, whether they know what those values [are] or not, would at least appreciate that it's certainly a greater evil to allow the government to pick and choose between forms of religious expression."
Younts, Cassidy's lawyer, told Blaze News, "The reality is that the Satanic Temple of Iowa chose a symbol of hatred, lies, death, and destruction in an effort to mock religious displays during the Christmas season. It would have been reasonable and appropriate for the State of Iowa to deny their application, the same way we would hope an application to display obscene material or a statue honoring Adolf Hitler would be denied."
"The idol was displayed as either a sincere attempt to worship Satan, the enemy of humanity, and promote lies, death, and destruction, or it was placed in an intentional effort to show hatred for and mock the Christian faith and traditional American values," added Younts.
Baphomet takes a tumbleAfter liking a post by Blaze News columnist Auron MacIntyre, which said, "Periodic reminder that the religious right were correct about everything," Cassidy, of Lauderdale, Mississippi, entered the Iowa Capitol on Dec. 14, 2023, and decapitated the Baphomet statue.
"I saw this blasphemous statue and was outraged. My conscience is held captive to the word of God, not to bureaucratic decree. And so I acted," Cassidy, a former F/A-18 Hornet pilot who served on the USS George Washington, said in an interview with the Sentinel.
"The world may tell Christians to submissively accept the legitimization of Satan, but none of the founders would have considered government sanction of satanic altars inside Capitol buildings as protected by the First Amendment," Cassidy continued. "Anti-Christian values have steadily been mainstreamed more and more in recent decades, and Christians have largely acted like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot of water."
Cassidy was originally charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief. However, Polk County Democratic Attorney Kimberly Graham's office enhanced the charge to third-degree criminal mischief on the basis of Cassidy's statements both to law enforcement and the public indicating he destroyed the property due to its anti-Christian nature — or what prosecutors referred to as "the victim's religion."
The Sentinel suggested that Graham, a failed U.S. Senate candidate, might have a bias against conservatives, highlighting the $300,000 of in-kind campaign support she reportedly received from the George Soros-funded Justice and Public Safety PAC.
Cassidy's legal team, which similarly suspects the charging decision was the result of anti-conservative bias, recently attempted to axe the hate crime charges. However, on Tuesday, an Iowa judge denied the motion.
Younts told Blaze News, "The judge ruled against our motion to dismiss even though the DA's office could not produce a single example in Iowa or across the United States where a similar statute had been used to justify charging a hate crime where the 'victim' was an organization rather than an individual."
Jury selection is expected to begin Monday. Cassidy reportedly faces as many as five years in prison.
"Our message is simple — America was founded by men and women whose primary source for the Constitution and our system of government was the Bible and traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs," said Younts. "Because of the religious beliefs and influences of our founders, America has experienced a profound history of religious freedom and prosperity. Our society will continue to collapse into chaos and tyranny if we abandon those beliefs and biblical principles that made our nation possible."

According to a new report, internal DHS data has revealed that the Biden administration has flown hundreds of thousands of “inadmissible” migrants into U.S. cities — and the top 15 cities are eye-opening.
The controversial CHNV mass-parole program has used American tax dollars to send migrants who have claimed refugee status all over the country, but the state with the most migrants is, of course, the red state of Florida.
“We’re just flying these people, without knowing who they really are,” Glenn Beck says, disturbed.
“Now, these aren’t the people who came across the border, these are the ones that the United States government went out to and said, ‘Hey, is anybody a refugee? If you’re a refugee, I got free tickets to America,’” he adds.
According to the report, 91,000 migrants were flown in from January through August 2023 to Miami, Florida. Fort Lauderdale, Florida, received 60,000 migrants.
Those were the top two cities of the fifteen, but the third received much less.
Compared to Miami’s 91,000 and Fort Lauderdale’s 60,000 — New York City came in at number three with 14,000.
“Wait a minute, that’s quite a spread there,” Glenn says, shocked.
Houston, Texas, received 8,000, and at number five, Orlando, Florida, received 6,000. Tampa, Florida, was also on the list.
Stu Burguiere is confused by the decision to send so many migrants to red states rather than states with sanctuary cities.
“If you’re the Biden administration, you keep telling everyone that people in the South, in the red states, hate immigrants, they’re racists, they’re xenophobes, they don’t have any programs for them,” Stu says.
“So, why would you continue to keep bringing them to Florida and Texas? Why wouldn’t you bring them to the cities that have all these wonderful programs you’ve passed?”

The Arizona Supreme Court issued a unanimous verdict on Thursday, siding with the Arizona Republican Party (ARP) in a pivotal legal battle stemming from the 2020 elections. The ruling overturned previous decisions by a trial court and the Arizona Court of Appeals, which had mandated that the ARP and its attorneys pay legal fees for the defense mounted by the state.
The lawsuit initiated by the ARP contested the procedures used in the post-election hand-count of ballots in Maricopa County, arguing that the process did not align with statutory requirements. The courts below had ruled against the ARP, labeling the lawsuit as groundless and in bad faith, thereby imposing legal fees as a penalty. However, the Arizona Supreme Court’s decision paints a different picture.
The justices found that the lawsuit was neither frivolous nor initiated in bad faith, effectively vacating the penalties imposed earlier. The opinion, authored by Justice Lopez, articulated that the claims were substantive enough to merit judicial consideration, free from the motivations ascribed by the lower courts. The core of the Supreme Court’s opinion centered on the interpretation of state election law and the manual recount procedures that followed the 2020 general election. The ARP had raised concerns over the inclusion of voting centers instead of precincts in the hand count—a method stipulated by the Arizona Secretary of State’s election procedures manual but contested as contrary to state law.
Justice Lopez, in the detailed ruling, noted, “We hold that the attorney fees award was improper because Petitioners’ claim was not groundless, thus obviating any need to determine whether the claim was made in the absence of good faith.”
“By sanctioning parties and their lawyers for bringing debatable, long-shot complaints, courts risk chilling legal advocacy and citizens raising ‘questions’ under the guise of defending the rule of law,” Justice Lopez wrote. “Even if done inadvertently and with the best of intentions, such sanctions present a real and present danger to the rule of law.”

The Arizona Republican Party welcomed the decision with a statement given to the Arizona Mirror: “This ruling reaffirms the fundamental legal principle that raising questions about the interpretation and application of election laws is a legitimate use of the judicial system, not a groundless or bad faith action. We remain committed to ensuring that election laws are followed precisely, upholding the integrity of our electoral process.”
More than a week after the 2020 election, the lawsuit was initiated, claiming that Arizona’s state law mandating limited post-election hand-count audits was at odds with the state’s Elections Procedures Manual. The legal battle was the alleged illegality of selecting ballots for audit from voting centers rather than by traditional precinct divisions. Arizona’s statutes necessitate that each county must perform a hand count on 1% of all early ballots and additionally, ballots from 2% of precincts following each election.
The unanimous decision by the three-judge appeals panel revealed the initial aim of the AZGOP to contest the hand-count audit procedures, which was later abandoned in a strategic move to prevent Maricopa County from certifying its election results, thus exposing the lawsuit’s underlying intent. The established criterion now mandates that a claim must be evidently baseless, with the plaintiff either recognizing its lack of merit or showing apathy towards the truth, yet continuing to advance it.
The decision comes at a time when election integrity continues to be a hot-button issue across the United States. By setting aside the lower courts’ rulings, the Arizona Supreme Court has reaffirmed the legal avenues available for parties to challenge election procedures.

A San Diego-area school district fired its superintendent over claims she harassed high school softball players who didn't clap loudly enough for her daughter at an awards ceremony.
What are the details?The Poway Unified School District voted unanimously Tuesday to terminate Superintendent Marian Kim Phelps, KNSD-TV reported.
The station said an independent investigation commenced last year after parents and students accused Phelps of harassing members of Del Norte High School's softball team.
Students told KNSD Phelps contacted players late at night after the awards ceremony and threatened seniors' graduation privileges if they failed to apologize for not clapping for her daughter. The station said the allegations first surfaced at a Poway Board meeting, but parents said they alerted the district months earlier.

In addition, a Del Norte High softball player filed a lawsuit against Phelps and the district over the alleged bullying, claiming emotional distress, violation of free speech, and harassment, KNSD said.

It alleges Phelps orchestrated an internal investigation of the plaintiff, whom Phelps accused of bullying her daughter — the two players were both pitchers and competed for playing time. The plaintiff believes the investigation was meant to prevent her from pitching or playing softball altogether, according to the lawsuit. Jane Doe was ultimately barred from all extracurricular activities in the 2023-2024 school year, including sports, school-sponsored social events and graduation commencement.Phelps has denied all allegations, KNSD reported, noting that she issued the following statement earlier in the process: “I've never threatened any student. I never would. I've never talked to any student about making threats about them not graduating. All those accusations are completely false and fabricated.”
Attorney Justin Reden represents the Del Norte High School softball player and her family who filed the lawsuit last November, and he told the station that no student should have to go through what his client endured.
Reden added to KNSD: “I think that the district is going to need to dismantle itself at the administrative level and rebuild."
Parent Melinda Huntoon told the station that "it should not take a year with the knowledge that they had. There was just so much evidence from the start to show that this person should not be in this position of power."
School board President Michelle O'Connor-Ratcliff said in an email, KNSD reported, that "based on her conduct, as revealed to the board through the investigation, the board has lost all confidence and trust in Dr. Phelps’ ability to continue to serve as superintendent, as well as in her ability to continue to work collaboratively with the board as part of Poway Unified’s governance team."
O'Connor-Ratcliff also said the "investigation brought to light previously unknown evidence from witnesses with direct first-hand knowledge that contradicted Dr. Phelps’ statements and assertions to the Board, District staff, and the public," the station reported.
A district spokeswoman added to KNSD that Tuesday would be Phelps' last day, and she won't receive a payout for the balance of her contract since she was terminated "for cause."
The station explained that while the district no longer employs Phelps, she's still a parent of a student in the district, and there are no restrictions on her parental activities.
KNSD said it tried reaching out to Phelps for comment but didn't receive a response.
The station said Greg Mizel will continue to serve as interim superintendent during the transition period.

Following his more recent online censorship demands, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is doubling down and has advocated for more stringent controls on what is labeled as “misogynistic” online content. This initiative comes as plans are set for a national cabinet session in 2024 focused on women’s safety, which will address online harassment, among other issues.
This move marks another significant focus by the government, ostensibly on enhancing women’s safety, but raising alarms about potential overreach in curtailing free speech, as its other speech-related policies have done.
“Young adults should not be coached in disrespect or misogyny by online influencers,” Prime Minister Albanese said.
“I understand parents want to protect their kids from harmful material online,” Albanese added. “Social platforms have important social responsibilities and we need them to step up. Taken together, these reforms will give Australian families some of the tools they need to navigate the complexity of the digital world.”
The Prime Minister added that the legislation would carry “serious criminal penalties.”
The proposed measures include better tracking and monitoring the speech of those considered high-risk or repeat offenders and a drive to significantly reduce the presence of misogynistic content on social media platforms.
Communications Minister Michelle Rowland has expressed concern about the widespread dissemination of such content, particularly its impact on young users of social media. “The reality is that digital platforms are influencing our culture and social lives. They have a responsibility to do more to meet community standards,” Rowland said.
However, critics argue that the measures could infringe on digital rights and free expression, especially given the opaque nature of the algorithms that determine content dissemination.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) “globalism caravan” was in Saudi Arabia late last month, when one of these “special meeting” panels heard about the usefulness of what one might call “behavioral population lessons learned” during the Covid pandemic.
Specifically, regarding the current push to introduce central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) around the world.
The pandemic itself may have done a sudden “disappearing act” about two years ago – but it’s clearly seen by some as paving the way for a host of other things.
One – the vast majority of people responded to extreme movement and activity restrictions that profoundly affected their lives, plus vaccines – without basically any resistance.
And this by no means went unnoticed.
And that has clearly emboldened a certain class of policy-makers to make further assumptions, about other controversial policies (like CBDCs).
A Gulf central bank chief – Khalid Humaidan of Bahrain – told WEF’s Riyadh “Digital Currencies’ Opportunity in the Middle East” panel that his country is working to get rid of cash altogether, and replace it with digitally centralized, (therefore almost perfectly controlled and tracked) CBDCs.
That’s in and of itself not a Middle East thing – many governments around the world want to do the exact same. Nevertheless, Humaidan for some reason “went there” and actually made the link between what some theorists see as “the great social experiment” – namely, the pandemic – and how it has opened the path for, effectively, corralling billions of people into a certain pattern of thinking and acting.
Humaidan had an interesting take on what “control over cash” means – according to him, central banks were previously “very much in control with all aspects of cash.”
And now – “We’re comfortable to the point where the private sector plays a big role in the printing of the cash, in the distribution of the cash, and with the private sector we use interest rates to manage the supply of cash.”

Stuntman and "Jackass" star Steve-O revealed that he is leaving the Hollywood hills after more than a decade and opting for more land and fewer taxes in Tennessee.
The former TV star turned stand-up comedian picked up and moved his entire life to a ranch in the South, shipping his family, animals, and even a skate ramp onto his new sprawling property.
Steve-O, whose real name is Stephen Gilchrist Glover, was able to make the same move many residents of California and New York have made and showcased the difference between his lifestyle in the Democrat-run state versus in conservative Tennessee.
Upon his arrival in his new home, Glover posted a video about the move to his YouTube channel and celebrated some of his new freedoms. This included an appreciation of firearms.
"We're not just having skate parties, we're having full-blown gun parties!" Steve-O announced. After he and his fiancée shot a variety of guns, Glover was visited by a local police officer to welcome him to the neighborhood.
"I never want to leave," Steve-O remarked, stating that anytime he takes a trip, he makes sure to promptly complete all business so he can return to the ranch as quickly as possible.
"If I'm going to leave the ranch it has to be a precision-strike mission so I can come right back to marking the days" off on his calendar, he said. This is important to Steve-O, he noted, so that he no longer has to pay California state taxes.
Tennessee is one of several states — including Texas and Florida — without any state income tax.
The stuntman and his partner explained they had also retrofitted a utility terrain vehicle, or UTV, to be street legal. This, in addition to riding motorcycles around their property, was one of the new freedoms they said they happily enjoyed.
Glover somehow managed to keep a trio of goats and other livestock in a make-shift barn on the second floor of his Hollywood property, but now he is able to let his animals roam freely on his new ranch.
His animals include chickens, two pigs, a pair of dogs, four cats, and now a fourth goat.
Even when using the example of a vending machine provided by a sponsor, Glover showed that in Hollywood, the vending machine needed to be lifted onto his property with a crane, and placed on top of a skate ramp due to a lack of space.
That same skate ramp, which was previously crammed into his Hollywood backyard after leveling the land, was easily rebuilt on his new property underneath a 22-foot car park.
Some of the work Steve-O said he is willing to leave his ranch for at times is to make appearances on shows and other podcasts. However, in late March 2024, he explained that he wouldn't be appearing on Bill Maher's "Club Random" show because Maher refused to respect his sobriety. Maher's producer reportedly told Steve-O's team that he declined to not smoke or drink during the recording.
Steve-O has been sober for nearly 16 years.
"All of these prolific potheads, I've been on their shows, and it wasn't so important to them to blow marijuana smoke in my face," Steve-O added. "For Bill Maher, it was a dealbreaker."
Maher never publicized any response to Steve-O's claims.

Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York released another version of her infamous "Green New Deal" in March to muted fanfare, but the law may have a secret strategy that has nothing to do with passing through Congress.
Ocasio-Cortez originally offered the multi-trillion-dollar proposal in 2019 and was lambasted by many on the right who criticized the bill as being prohibitively expensive and unconstitutionally expansive. In one particularly embarrassing episode, a draft version of the bill was released and critics mocked it for containing text that it would work to ban emissions from "farting cows." It was later deleted.
The newer version appears to be lesser in scope but still dangerous and contrary to the traditional principles of the U.S. according to fossil fuel advocate Daniel Turner.
Turner lambasted the new bill in an interview with Blaze Media where he characterized it as part of a campaign to redefine words in order to push the far-left agenda.
"The phrase 'Green New Deal' is going to become a lot like 'health crisis,'" he said.
Turner pointed out that the Biden administration was using the idea of a "health crisis" in order to impose every "progressive agenda item on their perpetual wish list."
He pointed to the Biden administration banning menthol cigarettes as one example of government control being expanded under the guise of public health.
"And now you can't smoke menthol cigarettes. You can smoke other cigarettes, right, but they want to ban menthol cigarettes because it's a crisis," Turner explained. "So, if you just label something a crisis, suddenly you have preternatural wisdom and extra-constitutional authority because you have given it that title."
That Ocasio-Cortez is targeting housing is not an accident, he says, because "public housing is a favorite pet of leftists, generally speaking."
Housing is not a human rightTurner focused on a pivotal aspect of the legislation that would change U.S. policy to guarantee the right to housing for every individual.
The proposal not only makes housing a human right but says that the government should provide affordable housing to each individual through spending that adds up to as much as a quarter of a trillion dollars over ten years.
"Right is another one of the favored phrases of the left because once you label something a right, then the government has an obligation to fulfill that right," Turner explained.
"That's why our enumerated rights are very few in the Constitution. Government does have the responsibility to protect your rights to speech and the press and assembly and religion, et cetera," he continued. "But once you declare housing a right, well, there are obligations to fulfill that right, and that's never been within the understanding of our government and the way it functions and the understanding of our society."
Turner went on to compare the proposal to those rights that are granted by socialist democracies in Western Europe, where workers are far less productive and earn far less than their counterparts in the U.S.
"So again, it's pushing America to something that it's not in its very nature," he said.
But he believes the "Green New Deal" will be used as a label to allow more government control in other areas of public policy.
"We'll see Green New Deals on transportation, Green New Deals on everything. And it'll be the excuse to push progressive government-issue items," he added.
The secret strategy behind the billTurner opined that there may be a strategy behind the bill that has nothing to do with it actually being passed. Progressives have said that the original bill was successful in pushing the Biden administration toward passing a climate bill even though the Green New Deal never came close to passing on its own.
"That's exactly what we're dealing with in the modern progressive left, it's obfuscation, deception, and flat-out lies," he explained.
Even Biden has admitted the trillion-dollar "Inflation Reduction Bill" was actually a way to use the inflation crisis to impose global warming policies on the U.S. economy. Turner says legislative history provides ample evidence to support the thesis.
"When they controlled both chambers and the White House, so starting in 2021 until January 2023, they could have easily passed the Green New Deal as legislation and they didn't. They didn't because they knew they did not actually want to put their names behind it. And parenthetically, we could say they could have introduced lots of legislation, loan forgiveness, abortion laws, but they chose not to," Turner said.
"So the Green New Deal, as much as they admire it as a piece of legislative strategy, they never introduced it when they had the authority to do so," he concluded.
Turner went on to say that the legislation was a perfect example of Democrats manipulating the definitions of words in service to a political ideology.
"If I can control your language, I can control your reality," he explained. "Their manipulation of language from 'rights' to 'housing' and 'Green New Deal' as well as just hiding behind other phrases like 'Inflation Reduction Act.' They never present the agenda honestly to the American people," he said.
"They try to sneak it through the backdoor because they know it's incredibly unpopular, and on its own, two feet could not stand."
Housing, said Turner, shows how Democrats lean in to government control even after it has shown to fail over and over.
"I'm originally from New York City and the New York Housing Authority, NYCHA, is always in the news because it is the largest landlord in the city, and it's a slumlord. And because it's the government, there is no incentive to make sure the heat works, the electricity works, the pipes don't freeze. There is no incentive for upkeep, for maintenance, for even safety," said Turner.
"And yet the private sector will have these spot inspections for asbestos and lead paint and get fined through the roof," he explained, "but when the government is the housing authority, all that is pushed aside."
A 2023 poll from the Bipartisan Policy Center found that the vast majority of Americans want Congress to focus on increasing the availability of low-income housing, but 71% didn't even know about the programs already available.
"Why would you want more of this? Why would you want more government involved in housing when housing has just been a disaster for the units that they run, and it's also driven up the prices for the rest of New Yorkers because there's only so many apartments on the island of Manhattan. And if New York City controls a certain percent, then the remaining ones, the price of rent goes through the roof," he continued.
"You just scratch your head and realize that their ideology trumps reality," Turner concluded.

The Justice Department has indicted a Democratic congressman from Texas, according to NBC News.
Sources say Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX), who has served in Congress since 2005, was indicted on Friday, roughly two years after his official and campaign offices were raided by federal authorities exploring connections to U.S. businessmen with ties to Azerbaijan. He and his wife have been charged with taking $600,000 in bribes from the country in exchange for official acts as a Congressman. Joshua Berman, a lawyer for Cuellar, said at the time that his client was not the subject of the government’s investigation. The Democrat co-chairs the Congressional Azerbaijan Caucus.
Sources added that the congressman’s staff was heard calling other offices in Washington Friday morning asking how to handle the situation.

Cuellar told the Texas Tribune, “There has been no wrongdoing on my part. … My focus remains the same from my very first day in office: delivering results for Texans across my district.” Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), who was overseeing House Democrats’ midterm election strategy, stood behind him. “I support my incumbents,” Pelosi said during a visit to Austin in March of 2022. “I support every one of them, from right to left. That is what I do.” Cuellar narrowly avoided a primary defeat to a more progressive challenger and staved off a Republican challenger in the general.

Cuellar, who represents parts of San Antonio following redistricting, is in a bluer district now but may become more vulnerable in this year’s elections. He faces two Republican challengers who will compete in May for a chance to face him in November. The 66-year-old lawyer is a former customs broker and Texas Secretary of State. He has served in the moderate Blue Dog Democrat caucus since first winning election in 2004.
The indictment of a second Democrat is not good news for a party suffering from an unpopular president and progressive unrest across the country. Cuellar is the second sitting Democrat to face charges. A Wisconsin teacher was arrested this week over allegations that she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a 5th-grade student.
Police arrested 24-year-old Madison Bergmann, a teacher at River Crest Elementary in Hudson, Wisconsin, on Wednesday after receiving information "regarding inappropriate conduct between a current teacher and a 5th grade student," according to WCCO-TV.
That information came from the 11-year-old student's parents, who had discovered evidence of the inappropriate relationship from text messages between their son and Bergmann. Police said the text messages included details about the alleged relationship, which included "kissing, touching, and making out," according to KARE-TV.
The parents brought the evidence to school administrators on Wednesday, who immediately involved police.
Upon investigation, police discovered more evidence. WCCO reported:
Inside Bergmann's backpack, an officer reports they found a folder with the victim's name on it containing many handwritten notes. The victim later told police that he and Bergmann would write each other notes throughout the day. Many of the letters talk about the two kissing each other, court documents say.In one of the letters, Bergmann allegedly wrote, "One of my cousins is in the 5th grade and I can't imagine a man talking to her how we talk. I know we have a special relationship and I do love you more than anyone in the world but I have to be the adult here and stop."
When police questioned Bergmann, she told them the student's mother had given her the 11-year-old's phone number when she accompanied them on a ski trip over winter break, KARE reported.
But when police asked Bergmann about the evidence, she invoked her right not to speak further.
"Learning about a school staff member and alleged inappropriate conduct that breaches trust is deeply troubling for all of us," school officials said in a statement. "We understand the gravity of this situation and are committed to providing the necessary support for any child who may be impacted."
Bergmann faces one count of first-degree child sexual assault. She was released from jail on $25,000 signature bond. She will be back in court later this month.
Per the conditions of her release, Bergmann has to wear a GPS-monitoring device, and she is barred from having contact with the victim or any other person under the age of 18.
A wedding website shows that Bergmann is engaged, and her wedding date was set for the end of July — less than three months from now.

Dear friends, this is an in more than one way hopeful message.
It consists of three parts. There’s another statement, which I gave in court a few days ago, and of which we have an English translation that’s available for those of you who are interested. Together with the already now infamous secret dossier written by the intelligence services and its English translation, it provides both the official evidence and further supporting facts that now prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the criminal proceeding against me is nothing but a, I quote from the dossier, “construct” to shut me up and put me behind bars without any legal substance whatsoever.
So here’s the deal.
Part oneAs I already told you a few times, I have always been very, very happy to receive your letters and postcards as they kept me going and my head above water in this very frustrating situation. But what is happening now goes far beyond this lifeboat effect. I am absolutely convinced that the incredible yet palpable enormous push of positive energy that is all of a sudden reaching me is coming to me through your letters and postcards but also through the vigils outside the prison and the many of you who are supporting me by coming to the courtroom for the hearings, plus your many other actions in my support. Up until a few years ago, though, I, as a rational attorney, would have probably thought that maybe I’m just imagining things.
But I don’t think that this is possible anymore. Never in my entire life have I been under such enormous pressure. Six months of preliminary detention in a maximum security prison whose claim to fame, according to other more experienced inmates, is that here they do everything to break you, make you feel utterly powerless and helpless.
As an intended consequence of this detention, my capacity to defend myself is reduced to maybe five percent. I have no access to my files, no access to my computer, and I cannot talk to the witnesses whom we want to hear. However, as you already know, some crack under pressure, but we don’t. And I say “we” for a reason. Despite this predicament, I am always fully awake and focused when they take me to the courtroom. And believe it or not, it feels as though I am protected and clad in an impenetrable armor of energy and as though I carry an indestructible and invincible sword of energy.
There’s no doubt in my mind that it is your positive energy that does this. And I don’t think it’s fake. No money in the world could buy me this, just like no money in the world can buy me the love of my wife, of whom I’m immensely proud. Enough of these strange emotional, spiritual ramblings of an otherwise rational attorney.
But I hope that through my sharing these feelings with you, I am giving you reason for hope and optimism too. In fact, I’m sure I do because I know who I’m talking to.
Part twoLast week, I told you that the excellent German journalist Paul Schreyer won a huge victory in court under the German version of the Freedom of Information Act. His court victory forced the German equivalent of the CDC to make secret documents available, which proved that the so-called pandemic was in reality a plandemic. In light of the fact that the same thing happened simultaneously all over the world, it is very likely – I mean it was a lockstep thing – that this victory will have massive implications and ramifications worldwide.
What’s even more important is this, however. This very, very important piece of news, this victory did not get stuck in the alternative media alone. Rather, it was impossible for the mainstream media to ignore it because now many people, many of them personally affected by the so-called measures, want to know the truth about Corona. And there will be more that they want to know. And now there will be an official investigation here in Germany.
Well, that is exactly what I did for three years. First with the Corona Committee and then with ICIC.
Part threeThis development is especially helpful for my defense in this staged criminal proceeding against me. And that’s because now, all of a sudden and out of the blue, a secret dossier written up by the German intelligence services, headed by the German version of the FBI, whose current leader, ironically, was trained by my father, landed in our laps.
This dossier explains everything and shows that the criminal case against me is a staged construct. In fact, a very famous and, of course, highly esteemed German law professor, who for the time being wants to remain anonymous, looked at the facts of my case and the charges and provided us with a short legal analysis. He comes to the conclusion that it is, of course, no violation of a fiduciary duty if we took out the loans in order to temporarily protect part of that money from imminent attachment by the authorities. The very same authorities, by the way, who were responsible for the dossier.
As long as we were both willing and capable of repaying the loan, no problem, he says. And all the textbooks and all the case books say the very same thing. As an aside, and I don’t want to blow my own horn here, I might add that without my work, there probably would not have been any donations. An additional, very crucial piece of information, I think I gave it to you before, makes the whole dossier and everyone involved in its execution look even more like a criminal conspiracy.
Indeed, it makes the whole thing look like food for a recall case, the famous racketeer influenced corrupt organizations act designed to go after mafia crimes. And here’s the thing. Less than two years ago, all the facts that are now relevant, including the loans, were brought to the attention of the senior DA, an experienced senior DA, District Attorney in Goettingen. She looked at the evidence and decided that there’s no basis for a criminal investigation, let alone for an indictment, and ordered the none case to be closed.
So how can it be that less than two years later, based on a criminal complaint, which real lawyers regard as obviously querulous and preposterous, another prosecutor, this time a very young, inexperienced assistant DA, had me kidnapped in Mexico so that I could be arrested at the Frankfurt Airport. How can it be that this assistant DA never even tried to check the obviously insane charges in that criminal complaint?
For example, that I threatened the authors of the complaint with a Winchester rifle. How can it be that that assistant DA refused to hear my side of the story while constantly communicating with my accusers? And why did he keep these many conversations with my accusers’ secrets, a grave violation of his prosecutorial duty to include all the evidence, including such phone conversations, in the files, and make all of this available to the defense? Does this man have any idea that what a fair trial means?
Well, the dossier gives us all the answers. Actually in a very positive way, it starts explaining about how I had made a name for myself as an international attorney who fought both in court, through public interviews and speeches, and through many publications for democracy, the rule of law and free speech, and the protection of these values against attacks or overreach by private corporations and organizations. And it emphasizes that my international connections and friends made it possible for me to connect with an international community.
Despite of all this, they conclude that I present a danger to democracy because some people didn’t like what I was doing. There’s no explanation as to who these some people are, and on what basis they think that I present a danger for democracy. So in order to stop me, and in particular to make it impossible for me to run for public office, the dossier advises that my immediate circle of people, those who I work with, should be infiltrated by an informant.
We know that this is a former politician who befriended the three Berlin attorneys, two of whom I had made the mistake of allowing them to work with us in the Corona Committee. The idea behind this infiltration was to collect as much info about me as possible, and to then hire another agent, a prosecutor, to start a criminal proceeding against me.
The undercover informer who befriended the three attorneys manipulated them with false information about me into writing the above-mentioned, obviously idiotic, and as we know now, totally false complaint.
But the fact that the legal quality of the complaint was beyond the pale didn’t matter, as according to the dossier, another undercover agent, this time the assistant DA, would spring into action and make sure that none of the real experienced DAs in Goettingen would once again quash the case like the experienced senior DA had done based on the very same facts less than two years ago. For this purpose, he was transferred from Hanover to Goettingen, intercepted the idiotic criminal complaint, and took charge of the matter.
He proceeded with an illegal and unconstitutional secret investigation, which was actually limited to taking everything in the complaint as factually true without even trying to check either the allegations or the credibility of the three attorneys who filed it. After more than a year of this so-called investigation, he made sure that none of his continuous telephone conversations with my accusers would show up in the file and have me kidnapped in Mexico. He then proceeded to write an indictment that matches the ineptitude of the three Berlin buffoons.
Had he conducted an actual investigation, informed me about the charges, and given me an opportunity to respond, his case would have collapsed then and there like a house of cards. Even if he had at least questioned the now totally destroyed credibility of my accusers, he would have immediately known that there was no case, only false accusations.
Why do I say this? Because on April 2nd and 3rd, when the court, my attorneys, and I did what the assistant DA, who by the way never asked a single question, had failed to do, that is when we interrogated one of the three attorneys who filed the complaint, she admitted that the two central pillars of this totally false indictment on which it rests do not exist.
The first pillar is, in contrast to the indictment’s false central assumption, I, as the director of the corporation that ran the Corona Committee, had the power to act completely independent of the others and did not need their approval for anything. This is of course of special importance in cases of emergency situations which we were facing back then. And it is especially important when two of the four directors do not participate in anything, and as the files show now, and my former co-host has actually confirmed, do not respond to anything.
Asked why they had falsely informed the assistant DA, the witness shrugged and said, “Oh well, looks like we made a mistake.”
The second pillar on which the indictment rests was its false assumption that I never intended to repay the loan, even though it was transparently listed in the corporation’s books and even though I had been the international face of the Corona Committee and relied on the Corona Committee’s financial security to continue with its work, and then use the evidence it produced in international legal proceedings. Even the courts now admit that this is not the case. That means that I was both willing and able to repay the loan. Asked if the accusers had any evidence for this false allegation, she admitted that she had none except for my former co-host’s equally false assumptions that were based on nothing but thin air.
In light of the dossier, we now believe she too was just another one of the dossier’s puppets. Now that the two cornerstones of the indictment have come crashing down, it’s clear that the famous law professor’s legal analysis is correct, of course. Under the circumstances, the loan was not a violation of a fiduciary duty to protect the donations – au contraire, as my French friends would say, on the contrary. Through this dossier, it has also become clear why the assistant DA acted so utterly incompetent and brazenly illegal, and why, despite the fact that there’s clear and convincing evidence that the three buffoons stole my money, my client’s money, he did nothing, didn’t even attach the bank account where the money is in order to secure whatever’s left of it, if there is anything left.
The female attorney whom we interrogated over the last couple of days has literally admitted that the three attorneys have threatened the buyer of my house and forced him to divert much more than one million euros of my purchase price into their account.
After all this, it is next to impossible to escape the conclusion that the deal between the three buffoons and the assistant DA is that they helped him kidnap me and put me behind bars, and in return, he would allow them to keep the stolen money and help them get all the other assets of the Corona committee, namely the gold.
And it is equally hard to escape the conclusion that the assistant DA, whose ineptitude would have kept him from having a real career in real life, was promised exactly that, a real career based on the heroic ingenuity that led to my incarceration.
There are many more instances of outright displays of insanity by the actors in this evolving crime and spy show, but I’ll save this for another day. One thing is certain, though: The evil side that is the not-so-very-intelligent intelligence services that set me up with the help of their undercover buffoons never expected that my work in the Corona Committee and then in ICIC would be vindicated by the above-mentioned recent developments.
There will be an official investigation of the plandemic.
I’ll close by hearkening back to the Winchester allegations. Some of you may remember the TV show “The Rifleman” with Chuck Connors. Well, when I was a child and my father showed me the police academy’s rifle range, this was my favorite show. Watch the opening credits on YouTube and you’ll see Chuck Connors fire his rifle to bring justice. Well, that’s how I saw my father as a little boy. Now, of course, I’m a grown man and I’m an attorney, and that’s how I’ll make sure that justice will be done, as an attorney. But I still love that show, and my father, of course. See you later.

Israel Uses “Limited Scope” Attack On Iran
Iran’s restraint after the “limited scope” attack by Israel is the only thing that prevented a wider conflict.
The reported attack took place amid continuing tensions between Israel and Iran, as well as Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza, which is on track to enter its seventh month next week. Israel has accused Iran of arming and guiding Hamas and pro-Palestinian militias based in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. Tehran, however, claims that Hamas and aligned groups act independently. -RT
The Israeli authorities have not yet commented on the attack, but West Jerusalem rarely acknowledges strikes outside of its territory. Iran has been threatening Israel, but seems to be responding in a more mild capacity,

While Israel attempts to wipe Hamas off the map, Iran continues to threaten to do the same to Israel.
Israel was also the victim of a friendly fire recently. A volley from an IDF tank into a building in Gaza where IDF reservists were taking cover killed two and injured two others, an internal investigation has reportedly found.
According to a report by RT, citing IDF estimates, noted that out of the 263 confirmed Israeli military fatalities since the start of the operation last October, at least 43 had fallen victim to ‘friendly fire’ and various accidents. The report listed poor communication as well as personnel fatigue and inattentiveness as some of the reasons.
Israel launched its massive offensive in the densely-populated Palestinian enclave following the deadly October 7th incursion by Hamas militants, which claimed the lives of an estimated 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilians. Israel’s retaliatory ground operation and air bombardments have so far killed more than 34,000 people, according to Gaza authorities.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R) signed a bill on Wednesday that requires local law enforcement officials to cooperate with federal immigration agents and mandates that jails check inmates’ immigration statuses.
House Bill 1105, sponsored by Georgia State Rep. Jesse Petrea (R), requires the Department of Corrections to honor Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s detainer requests for individuals in custody who are suspected of having entered the country illegally.
Local law enforcement agencies that refuse to cooperate with ICE officials could lose state funding under the new law.
Additionally, the Department of Corrections commissioner must share on the department's public website a “report of aggregate data on the immigration status, offenses, and home countries of inmates who are confined under the authority of the department who are not citizens of the United States and to whom the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division of the Department of Homeland Security has issued immigration detainer notices.”
The bill also prevents local governments within the state from enacting “sanctuary policies,” defined as any regulations prohibiting local officials from “complying with an immigration detainer notice or communicating or cooperating with federal officials or local law enforcement officers with regard to reporting immigration status information.”
Most of the legislation’s provisions are set to take effect immediately.
Kemp signed a separate bill, Senate Bill 63, requiring cash bail for 30 additional offenses. It also restricts individuals and entities from posting cash bonds more than three times per year. The bill will take effect July 1.
On Wednesday, Kemp stated that HB 1105 “became one of our top priorities following the senseless death of Laken Riley at the hands of someone in this country illegally who had already been arrested even after crossing the border,” the Associated Press reported.
Earlier this year, José Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old Venezuelan national in the country illegally, was charged with the abduction and murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley, a nursing student at the University of Georgia.
“If you enter our country illegally and proceed to commit further crimes in our communities, we will not allow your crimes to go unanswered,” Kemp added.
Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones (R) stated that the signing of SB 63 “will support law enforcement officers who are doing their jobs to keep our state safe and ensure criminal offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent.”
“We will not allow criminals to roam free in our streets. These bills continue our efforts to keep Georgians safe,” he stated.

Despite his potential retirement, Mickelson appears skeptical about the necessity of a formal tie-up between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour. “Whether you’re practicing on your own or with friends, there’s so many great things about this game of golf,” he said. This week, Mickelson is participating in the LIV tournament in Singapore. During a press conference on Thursday morning, he did not discuss any plans for retirement. The atmosphere during the session was relatively relaxed; at one moment, he was asked about his reputation as “the OG of golf viral videos.” His reply was:
“No, I just say a lot of stupid sh*t that goes viral.”
Mickelson’s career has been closely watched since he made the controversial move to join the Saudi-backed LIV Golf, becoming one of the first prominent golfers to sign on. His decision caused debates about the future of golf and its alignment with traditional tours like the PGA.
